Gloucestershire County Council are reporting that road users are being advised that a temporary one-way system will be introduced on London Road in Gloucester from 10 June to allow work on the next phase of the Gloucester City Centre Cycle Spine to progress safely and efficiently.
Under the new arrangement, westbound traffic (travelling towards the Black Dog Way/Bruton Way junction and onwards to Gloucester Transport Hub/Gloucester Rail Station main entrance) will not be permitted. Eastbound traffic towards the hospital and the University of Gloucestershire, Oxstalls Campus will remain open as normal.
As the project moves into the next phases, the temporary mini roundabout at the junction of London Road and Black Dog Way will remain in place to help manage traffic flow.
