Dental School and Treatment Hub gets green light
University of Gloucestershire and NHS Gloucestershire ICB have agreed funding for a new Dental School and Treatment Hub, set to open in the heart of Gloucester reports NHS Gloucestershire.
Located within the University’s City Campus, the Three Counties Dental School, which will include the Gloucestershire Dental Treatment Hub, will be operational from 2027. Markey Building Services Limited have been contracted to deliver the development works, and NHS Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is currently procuring a provider to operate the treatment hub.
This £3m project on the third floor will transform the City Campus building into a modern and contemporary dental training and treatment facility. It represents a significant investment in the region’s healthcare infrastructure, supporting both community dental services in Gloucestershire and dental education programmes.
