Permanent position – Personal & Private Account Handler.

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen with a long established independent Insurance company based in Hereford.

Role Description

The job will be working in a Small friendly team in a relaxed but efficient office.

Ideally we are looking for someone to take full responsibility for the department dealing with the handling personal lines business e.g. home insurance.

The job primarily will be dealing with renewals (approx. 40 to 50 per month) cross selling and dealing with all new business & including servicing existing clients.

The client has an extensive data base of commercial client who quite often request personal insurance.

Our client is looking to employ a candidate that is looking for a long term career rather than just a job. A minimum of one year experience of commercial and/or business insurance is essential.

This position may well suit an individual that is looking to move away from the corporate environment to a more local brokerage.

Working Hours/ Holidays

Hours of Work would normally be  9-5.15pm with an hour for lunch however our client will consider school time hours.

Holiday Entitlement 5 weeks per annum plus bank holidays

The successful candidate will benefit for a generous salary of between £20K and £25K (pro rata for reduced hours).
